Building Projects
PEACE CENTER
Through HFTC funds have been sent to build structures at the PC so that more people can be accommodated and more programs offered. A house for widows has been erected in the PC compound and more rooms can be added as funds are available. A small building for a cooking kitchen and storage was built for preparing meals for large groups such as agape meals once a month or food for seminars held at the PC.

Architect’s rendering
Bisoke has dreamed of building a 24 hour House of Prayer. With the help of a matching gift from Anglican Relief Development Fund, HFTC, Inc. has been able to fully fund the project. This building will offer larger worship space, be a venue for seminars and meetings, provide office space, and most importantly, be a 24 hour center for counseling and prayer.

BARAKA ACADEMY I
Relocation and construction of a new woodworking shop was funded by HFTC contacts. The old shop was under power lines and the government required that it be relocated.
With these new upgrades the school will be able to attract more paying students to offset the cost of the enrollment for orphan and children of staff. This will allow the school to become self-supporting again.
New coats of paint
At a cost of $21,950, repairs and upgrades to Baraka Academy are almost complete. Cement floors, installation of ceilings under the open rafters, painting inside and out and drainage issues are nearly complete. The multipurpose room, library and computer room are the last rooms to be repaired.
