Thirsty for Water

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”

1/10/24 People are desparate for water. Thanks to donations from two of our partner churches the Babunia well, near the Peace Center is nearing completion. It is being built in a deserted place of previous tribal conflict. With Father Bisoke’s counsel on peace building and reconciliation, the tribes now want to come back home and live in peace.

Praise God for his blessing of water. This is the fifth well we have been able to build by his provision.

Three hundred orphans live in the Rwampara displaced camp near the PC and look after each other. On December 29 they were invited to the PC where they were fed, viewed the Jesus Film and were entertained with music and Bible teaching.

Children joyfully fill their water jugs at the Babunia well then walk back carrying the heavy burdens on their heads.
