Urgent Prayer Request from Bisoke

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I think many of you have heard about the chaos which is happening now in Congo, and more people are losing their lives. Recently the M23 rebels have taken the town of Goma and now they have taken Bukavu which has made more people run away.
In Ituri province (where Bunia is the capital) the malicious rebel group called CODECO has killed more than 100 people and burned them in their houses, many of them women and children. Now here in Bunia people are living with fear because the rumors are saying that the Ugandan soldiers who are now in Boga will come to fight us in Bunia and some news are also saying that the Rwandan soldiers are coming as well.  
Food is now so expensive; the rumors are saying we need to have a stack of food at home for one month because the war which will happen here will stay longer. People are not sleeping in the night.

Please pray with us in order God can stop all this bad news.

• Ugandan troops have arrived, not to take over, but to work with the government of DRC to help protect Bunia from CODECO and M23.  

• We also asked Bisoke if he felt the Peace Center was safe. He said yes, very safe.
